ICA Scholarships for Participation in an ICA Regional Cartographic Conference
The International Cartographic Association (ICA) considers applications for scholarships to support early-career scientists or professionals in Cartography and GIScience in participating at EuroCarto2024.

Scholarships for BCS members
The British Cartographic Society (BCS) offers individual members the opportunity to apply for support of up to £500 to attend EuroCarto2024.
Applicants shall meet the following conditions:
- You must be a current individual member of the BCS (i.e., Student, Associate, Full, Overseas, Fellow, or Hon. Fellow);
- You must not be in receipt of an ICA Scholarship to attend EuroCarto 2024; and
- You must provide a written report to Maplines and/or submit a paper to The Cartographic Journal.
Applications will be considered by a subcommittee drawn from the BCS Council and the UKCC. Awarded funds can be put towards registration, travel or accommodation.
To apply, write a letter outlining the reasons why you are seeking BCS support and send this by email to BCS Administration (admin@cartography.org.uk) no later than 5 pm BST on Friday, 5 July 2024. Applicants will be notified within one week.
Scholarships for ČKS members
The Czech Cartographic Society (ČKS) offers scholarships for ČKS members participating in EuroCarto2024.

Scholarships for DGfK members
The German Cartographic Society (DGfK) offers scholarships for DGfK members via the regional sections.

Sustainable Travel Support for SGK members
The Swiss Society of Cartography (SSC) accepts scholarship applications from young scholars, researchers, and students in cartography and GIScience.
Eligible for a CHF 200 scholarship are SGK members who choose eco-friendly, sustainable travel methods, such as taking the train to attend EuroCarto.
